Amateur dramatics musical - Misled

Good evening.
Can anyone help with the following.
I've just recently paid £65.00 (£25.00 adult, £15.00 ch.) to go and see a musical at a famous london theatre.
I feel I have been misled as the production company was an amateur drama group. The acting and direction was poor and a lot of the actors forgot their lines - it was like watching a school play.
I've paid £65.00 for the tickets plus travel into London. Now whilst I hear you all say 'complain', the problem I have is that half way throught the performance, I found out that proceeds of tickets are going to charity. Now whilst I have no problem with that, I feel it is preventing me from complaining as my good nature is taken advantage of.
When purchasing the tickets, I was not informed that it was a charity event and the theatre website did not advise of this either.
This was meant to be a treat for my daughter but I feel a little conned and out of pocket. And taken advantage of.
Is it out of order to complain and how would I go about this in a polite manner?
thanks

Was this a Sunday performance by any chance? That's when the charity / amateur company shows are usually scheduled. I too would be interested to know which show it was and at which venue...Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0
