Ebay toolbar "Account Guard" not working?

Hi, Has anyone got the Ebay toolbar?
I have just posted an item for sale and recieved a spoof e-mail 2 days later to my inbox (Spoofs usually go to my junk & unnaproved) when I logged on to Ebay the "Account Guard" did not go green as it should and if I put mouse near it is says "not a verified ebay site". I have tried several different ways of logging on (Google search, favourites etc.,) but it still does the same weather I sign in or not
- has anyone else noticed the same, I even uninstalled the toolbar and re-installed it to see if that would make a difference.
I have e-mailed ebay but as it has to be through the same site how do I know it is genuine or am I being paranoid!!!!

The second part of that sentence is where you went wrong
Apart from droll commentary on ebay's lousy toolbar, I don't have anything helpful to add, sorry

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
