Hi there.
Well I guess like a lot of other people here I have been shopping for the best deals using U-switch and the other comparison sites..I want the cheapest deal and up until now had generally been imputing "dual fuel" and "pay by monthly direct debit" as that seemed to be the cheapest overall..but this time i tried other tariffs to see if there was better deals to be had and..
For my yearly consumption I found that a few of the comparison sites brought up the N-Power Go-save tarriff as the cheapest but after going to some other sites directly, then getting the calculator out I found the following deals and wondered what other money savers thought and if they knew of a company or tarriff(s) that beats these quotes:
My yearly average consumption is:
electricity - 2400 kw/hours
Gas - 2664 kw/Hours ..(not units..ive already converted)
Best deals I found so far:
OVO new energy (Electricity only)
8.19p per kw/h x 2400 units = £196 + standing charge £63 per year = £259 (incl VAT)
Ebico Equigas (Gas only)
3.675p per kw/hour x 2664 units = £97 (no standing charge) (incl VAT)
so for my yearly consumption thats approximatly £356 per year (incl VAT)
Going this route i missed out on u-switch etc discounts as i couldnt find them as a click through on any of these sites..but they still seemed to be the best deals unless someone out there knows better?
If a money saving person has found better rates than the above id love to hear as i have a few days to change my mind And I guess many others would love to know too.
thanks in advance

How do you heat your house? Assuming gas CH, your annual consumption is incredibly low-less than a tenth of the average. Your electricity is also very low (far too low for electric heating), so unless you live in an unheated house I suspect your calculations are are incorrect.
Suggest you post your annual consumption in units (say whether metric or imperial meter) so that someone can check.
The cheapest way of switching will be to use the comparison sites to find the right tariff, but then go via a Quidco or topcashback, so that you get the commission rather than giving it to the switching site.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
