Fixing macbook

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me, some of the keys on my macbook have stopped working :(. I cant really afford to buy a replacement keyboard since there pretty expensive.

Does anyone know of anything I could use to clean inside the keys? not sure if I can do this though?

Thanks

It's generally only possible to fix a problem where so much crud has accumulated under the keys that they no longer depress fully. In that situation, putting the laptop on its side and using a long bristled brush should dislodge whatever is in the way.

If gunge (or fluid) has got inside the switch assembly, there is not much you can do, as the switches themselves do not come apart. Then it's time for either a new or secondhand keyboard.
