Im just wondering i would be able to get any help. Me and my ex have split up and we have 4 kids together which live with my ex but i have the kids from after school friday to sunday teatime every weekend and sometimes in holidays im not working at the moment and getting jobseekers which the csa take child support from. so what i have left is very hard to support myself and pay bills let alone fed 4 kids at weekends i just wondered i would be intitled to any help. i am looking for work but not having much luck at moment just thought i would ask.

    No there is not any benefit you could receive, the only thing you could do would be to get some money from the Mother.

    thank you for your reply. As for asking the mother that might easier said the done with my ex lol, ive already had an earful from her because the csa payments have gone down because i have lost my job.

    Only 1 parent can claim the child benefit and child tax credits so that would be the mother.
