Choosing a HIP Provider

Hi there,
I'm sure there's loads of info on here regarding this but i've searched and trawled the first few pages and can't find much...
My EA has quoted £399 + VAT to do my HIP. I know I can find a provider on the internet for anywhere between £200 and £500. I'm just not sure how to choose one. I've been on the AoHIPP website but don't know the difference between Executive, Associate and Affliate members.
You here stories about it taking weeks or that not all the information is there.
How can I be sure I'm getting the best value for money.

I've just bought one through Hips4U. They've been very efficient so far. Phoned on Friday, got the energy assessment done on Wednesday and have all the stuff I need to be on the market today. That said they did talk £20 extra out of me on top of the original quote for a "fast-track" service (4-6 days rather than 12-14 days) which I reluctantly paid although I suspect they'd have done it as quickly any way.0
