I ate whatever I wanted and tried to make sure I had fruit/veg daily. But I craved carbs and meat - so I incorporated them into my regular healthy diet and was fine. Baby was and is also fine.
The banned foods lists vary in every country. I'm in Germany, and the only things we're not supposed to eat are steak tartare, sushi and salad from buffets and blue cheese. Pate and such are ok but no more than one portion a day because of the vitamin A, and a single beer 2-3 times a week is fine.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oh and Cobra Zero is vile....my craving is Fosters so i have been trying out the zero % beers....the only thing that relieves it is a weak Fosters shandy
This time round i don't mind giving in to one of those occasionally.

i was lucky with both my children i didn't crave a thing however i had horrific morning sickness with ds and couldn't keep anything down for 3 months and with dd i just had the constant sickly feeling morning till night. I was advised to take ginger nut biscuits to bed with me and when i woke in the morning eat one biscuit and it would take the edge off the sickness as ginger is very good for this.0

OMG...others like it too.
Im just past the 12 week stage and have stopped throwing up (except for coffee and hot cross bun smells!)
But, now, I just cant stop eating..I caught myself having a strawberry and cheese sandwich yesterday...and OMG I would kill for a slice of toast with a runny fried egg, pate on toast on the side and washed down with a big glass of Rose!
Pathetic!0 -
