Still cant get through at 11 40 at night. I am beggining to think this is a bit of a con. I am sure they have some rooms available but for all the effort we have made more of us should have been able to get through. By only doing it for a day its almost certain the site cant cope, good free ad! Perhaps we should contact them and tell them that the site was almost exclusively unobtainable and what are they going to do about it? Tell you what, I will!

Ive been trying for ten hours, my date is still showing as available but when I click it wont load to book it

What email have you compained to?

I just emailed them to accuse them of a cheap publicity stunt as they knew that it would flood the site! I expect I will be told that the level of demand was not expected, so I have said if it was a genuine deal it would have been on for a few days so the site wouldnt have been flooded and would simply have shown as sold out! Dont know what reply I will get, if any!

I emailed the 'contact us ' feedback form. I said that if this had been genuine it would have been more obtainable, that it was predictable that the site would crash and that it was just a form of cheap publicity which has wasted people time...............and not to email me back to say that they werent expecting the traffic and it was 'unprecedented'!

Exactly what a waste of time this has been...... still stuck on my date now .......well at least i have not fallen asleep on my lap top but think its time to switch off

The deals are genuine , they have been doing this offer for a number of years now . I booked for Manchester last year.

All I can say is that the e mail is correct, and fingers crossed you will be able to book tommorrow

I have also been trying most of the day and to no avail - so I just emailled them too! Will see if I get any reply - not holding my breath

Mandi - I thought the rooms were only available to be booked weds 14 April - for one day only??

OMG I Actually just managed it!

I used a link posted earlier rather than going through the search facility and it worked! Managed to book two nights.

Whoop Whoop - I take all my moaning back - after about 10 hours of trying I managed to book a one night stay at Uplands!! A day of shopping and a nice hotel to stay in after for a treat for my mum and I :-) Thanks OP
