I booked a room at Greenwich. It was 'supposed' to be £10 although the receipt/confirmation email states £19. Even after purchasing the room there were still others on the same date available at £10. It must have changed to £19 at the final stage and i must have not noticed. Only £9 however this is the second time this has happened.0

After no luck yesterday and when going on today there were no fri and saturdays available I emailed the hotel direct and customer services for devere explaining had spent hrs yesterday and also rang central reservations yesterday who were actually quite rude.
I added in my emails the dates and that we normally had breakfast at £7.50 per person both mornings and dinner on the second night on their special rate of £15 per person for 2 courses so usually spent £80 for 2 nights bed and breakfast with one nights dinner and we would be willing to book at this rate if they were willing to offer that as a special offer.
Within an hr the hotel emailed me back saying their reservation manager would contact me later, then had an email from her saying she could do me a double room on both the nights I wanted at the special rate of £10 a night to ring and give payment details.
So i have 2 nights booked now for end of june at staverton park, excellent customer service and love this hotel been several times before.0 -
Seems to be only £19 rooms available now but there is a fair selection, however for anyone who might like to go to Reading there is a special £10 room deal on until 31 Dec, I stayed there at easter and it was impressive, the spa and pool were very warm. You can only book one night per person at this rate though and when I looked through the dates none were for fri/sat but there was loads available in august, if that helps anyone.

Usually at a hotel with a booking like this, the hotel is more than happy to give you the same room for the two nights if you explain at the check-in. But, in this particular case where it is restricted to one night per person, I think you are dead right to check out and then check back in later in the day. Very impressed with your MSE abilty!.
Hope that you have a great time."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"
