    i can certainly recommend the wickes wood preserver but ive no idea about the sprayer. i dont use one.
    see what screwfix or toolstation have.
    Get some gorm.

    Use a paint pad, they sell kits with all sizes in the diy sheds, so you can get into all the fiddly bits. Advantage over brushes is they leave a lovely smooth finish with no brush marks. They can be used with paint/stain/wood preserver etc in just the same way as brushes.
