I would have said laundry bag too SB

Thanks both - in that case I shall use it for toys/laundry or something I'm sure, but probably won't be putting the baby in it!:)

thanks xmas - although its nowhere near as round as I would like - I think the small picture helps - lol - its far too B shaped for my liking due to my abnormally deep belly button and umbilical hernia :(

    morning all

good luck to smartie at the hosp today and fingers crossed for a bed pigpen

Slightly eventful late aft/evening yest...no need for details but DH was really mean to me :( it's sorted now, I know he's stressed at work but I refuse to have it taken out on me. He was very contrite later. Thankfully I now know that when he's mad he says things he doesn't mean and it's just water off a duck's back so didn't stress me out too much.

I am all ready to go to work as woke early, just waiting til it's time to go for the bus. Annoyingly I'd just missed one when I was ready!

This weekend I want to move some stuff again in the baby's room, and put the mattress in the cot etc. I ordered some washable wipes yesterday and so I now only need a changing mat :)

Good luck today Smartie and PP. I'm heading up north later to pick up the cot bed from my brother and SIL so probably won't hear if there's any news til we get back on Sunday - I'm going to be on tenterhooks til then!

Lovely bumps ladies :D Mine is B-shaped too tigtag. I seem to have a roll of fat just above my belly button that just won't shift, so even though my belly button is getting much shallower my bump still doesn't look round.

I have an appointment with the nurse today for DH and I to be shown how to do the injections I now have to have every day til a week after Flump arrives. So pretty soon my bump will be covered in little bruises from the needles as well as being a funny shape :(

I feel like a lurker now..........

thought i would pop in and say congrats to all who have popped, good luck to those due and fingers crossed/labour vibes and hugs to those in need,

well baby holly is now 2 weeks and 2 days old, gaining weight nicely - she was 8lb 8ozs Wednesday last week and was weighed yesterday y health visitor at 9lb 9ozs!!! not bad for a breast fed baby apparently. She is breast fed all day, given an expressed milk bottle at 11pm and a formula bottle in the night and she's waking possibly twice at most and wakes about 7am so not too bad.

still refuses to have a blanket on her in her cot though but doesnt mind if shes in the buggy or her bouncer - odd child.

will be back with more pictures later

    love

bigbird - my dh would never be able to do that! He can't stand needles at all! he is at home today and hoping a day of learning his latin, PS3 and cricket will cheer him up!

Having thrown up half my cereal this morning I'm now enjoying a danish and a cup of tea (with caffeine - I need it!). Office is almost empty today - public sector!!

sir monster - am so jealous you only have one week left after today!! :D

I have worked out if I stick to working from home 2 days, and I have a day's leave when my dad is visiting...after today i only have about 15 commuting days left - YAY!

sammy - great news, well done re the BFing!

Has anyone heard of a close baby carrier/sling? Lovely lady who gave me about 10 new nappy wraps yesterday has offered me one for £20. In fact she has 2 so I might get one for my sister too.
