1more; So sorry to hear about your mum, it must be really hard for you seeing her like that. Its just goes to show how useless the nhs are. Hope everything gets sorted for her.
Wildfrog; oooh how very exciting! *LOADS of labour vibes* coming your way
Bufger; Added you on facebook, hope you dont mind. I have tried looking for the rest of you but not having much luck
I feel sooo hungry!0 -
Oooohh.. congrats Wild frog and anyone else who needs labour vibes!
Im sooooo tired that I am on the verge of falling asleep at my desk. I would have a quick nap as ive got a free hour now, but cant put head down becuase bump gets in the way. I hope yr 7 are v.v.quiet for me next... not likely though, theyre a lively lot.... It's ok, last day on Monday.
We're (well, DH) putting our new "I love my bear" cot up tonight! Cant wait, washed all bedding a few days ago too...
I feel sorry for anyone in the last few weeks! Im only 36 weeks and I want bubs out now... my stomach looks like that scene out of alien! Sometimes it has a big point in the middle, like a knee or elbow is sticking up and my stomach looks deformed! Not a bump at all!
Hope youre all well!First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -

Apparently its a freecycle/gumtree club just for MSE'ers with newborns and little ones on the way (at least thats what it looks like). Its really good! 70ish members in total and a complete open and honest policy on the stuff being offered/sold which seems to work.MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
thanks for all you kind thoughts
mgeb i have stepped back from her but the dr wouldnt have a clue she was ill if i didnt call
her social worker called me back this am she said they wont go to see her today as theres no appointments but will see her soon & wont tell me anything because of confidentiality, so ive told them i am unable to see to her and that she is their responability and im doing no more
i feel awful but i have to for my own sake
now to put her at the back on my mind & concentrate on my ds birthday party, 10 boys bowling oh the joy xx
Oh i wasn't saying step back from her - it's different in every situ i know all too well. I had good reason as my dad turned on me and hubby becuase he thought we were trying to commit him when we weren't we were just trying to get some help and so he made our lives hell so we had little choice. I hope you do get some help though, i still end up near enough in tears when i think of my dad and wonder what he's up to now - without the illness or alcohol he can be a lovely man - proper jekal and hyde with it though, full fledged violence and manipulation, he can really get into your head which is scary. That confidentiality thing really grates on me too though - your trying to help but they completely block you and then hardly do anything themselves. I'm not being funny but how do they expect you to do anything when the only person they'll tell anything to is the person who is ill and needs help ?!?
I hope you can enjoy your day and give DS a lovely birthday. Try and have a good day! x
Just realised i'm still down as 27th on the EDD list, must have forgotten to adjust it...i better not go on for that long lol.
Yup getting close....it's all getting scary when i really think about it though. But i still really really want to go into labour asap....i'll panic once it starts though lol, prob crying no no no give me another few days. Hahaha!
Bufger, if you don't mind and get only as long as you get a spare moment could you do the friend suggestions thing for me too?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
sir_monster wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl:This made me laugh I'm in Croydon (not from there originally so chose it LOL!!), all I will say isn't so bad in my part and does have good links to London and the coast. Although slightly worried that I've having bubs as what is known as the Maydie (Mayday)
Lol, where abouts? I was west croydon so about the roughest bit. Anywhere south is quite nice though. Lol, well to be fair i was Croydon born, moved to Southampton at about 8, back to london, Peckham to be precise till i left secondary school, then with hubby we gradully moved to Crystal Palace, West Croydon, now South Coast together.....can't get any further south so it'll be overseas next lol!
And erm as for Maydie....er just make sure you have a good birthing partner who'll be firm and speak up if need be and you should be fine. I was born there, and i had DD there - Say no to student midwives too, it's ok to have em in the room, just don't get left with one who think they know best and want to deliver your baby on their ownMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
