Outdoor Light & Socket

Hi.

I have a outdoor sensored security light I want to remove. It is run directly from a spur from an upstairs ring main socket.

I want to remove the light & replace it but install an outdoor switch for a new sensored light so it can be isolated externally if we don't want the light going off when we are sitting outside & also install an outdoor 3-pin plug.

Can it be done from the spur? & where can I get a reasonable priced combined external isolating switch combined with a 3-pin plug?

I don't think you can get a combined socket and switched spur - you'll need a seperate box for the spur switch.

That is what I thought.

I was hoped there was one out there somewhere.
