Hi everyone! Great thread! I am looking forward to making some of these and would love to make a dummy holder one for DD2 but what would I use on the ends and where would I buy what I need?

these are fab. thinking i might make my 2 older children them for the zippers on their bags. i not too keen on their names showing tho as i always worry a stranger will see their name and just start talkin to them. strange i know but it has always bothered me. so thought i might do angel or princess or dude etc. Fab thread, thankyou.

my children are teens now, but when they were at primary school they were not allowed anything with names on,
bags/hats etc for this very reason

this thread got me thinking. when i used to make jewellery a long time ago, one thing that was always popular was beaded hairslides. My daughter never been too keen on hairslide. but thought i could make a beaded hairslide with hello kitty beads on or maybe words like the keyrings. such as angel or days of the week etc. I will get creating this week and report back with my daughters verdict ,lol. I will post a pic also. what does everyone else think.

thankyou. i've been on ebay , and found some wonderful fruit fimo beads as well as sweets and animals etc. My prob is i get a crafting block and just can't make anything then other times like now my brain is buzzing. i've got jewellery , cushions, quilts , clothes, tableclothes , pet bedding ideas all wizzing through my head. might not al be good ideas, lol. but i love moments like this. Thanks for your first post *louise* as it has brought alot of inspiration to me.
