family holiday October half term

I'm looking for a family holiday for 4 (two children but over 14 so basically 4 adults) somewhere warm in the October half term. Ideally I'd like 4* minimum hotel, half board or all inclusive.

I've never been to the Canary Islands and wondered if it would be warm enough there in October and whether I am still likely to be able to book. Whenever I have tried to book for October half term before I've been told that all the holidays have gone and we've ended up booking direct ourselves, but this time I am too busy to sort out flights, accomodation car hire etc and would really like a package.

Any suggestions as to place, hotel or travel companies I might try?

I don't want Cyprus as we've been there rather a lot, and we had an absolutely ghastly holiday in majorca two years ago that put us off ever going there again, hence settling on Canary Islands.

Not sure where you can fly from, but there are ba flights from MAN and EMA toTFS this winter, packages through Cadogan Holidays.
