Does anyone know if it is possible easily to split satellite feeds in two so I can get sky and also feed a Freesat box (so I can get the free HD channels)?

Many thanks

You need something like this and to feed an extra cable.

Thanks for the quick reply - not sure that'll do it though - I live in a flat so can't access the communal dish - I have two feeds coming out of the wall but the sky+ box needs them both - I suppose I could just use one to feed a freesat box, I think the only functionality I will lose on the sky box is to record two channels at once - suppose if I need that I could record one on Freesat and one on Sky
  • as the above post you will need a twin or quad LNB and run another cable
    this will do you

Your right you would lose the record two channels feature......you can split the cables but you will need a special device that also splits the feed....expensive bit of kit.....so not worth it.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right
