Ask them why they've not had many viewings for it yet. Ask them what their strategy is to get it sold.
Find out when you can dump them if their answers are pants.

we nare not fussy and being over demanding . only one vieweing so far.after 9 weeks is not acceptable when our house is a first time buyers house . where we live is a nice area . our house is lovely and all done up . i really dont know what this agent is doing and why they cannot get people to view this property . we are getting so frustrated as nothing keeps happienng . when we ask and ring them they saying they are trying and cant force people to view . we arevtied in for another three weeks and then two weeks notice .

any futher advise would be appreciated and thanks everyone .

The EA is right, they cannot force people to view. The only other avenue is your property is overpriced, you have to be realistic. Look at what other properties have ACTUALLY sold for in your street during 2009.

Are you prepared to put up a Rightmove link?

I have recently sold a FTB property. I looked at what had sold in my block during 2009 and listed mine at that price, I then took an offer £2000 below. I was delighted as it was a problem property that I would have been happy to have made a loss on.
  • It might be fun to see two agents have a duel.

Then choose one based on their performance.
