Kichen cupboard question...

Hi - I'm having a new kitchen installed next week. I was planning to keep my existing built-in oven as there is nothing wrong with it (I hate waste) although it's a '96 model (wish I was!).
My thoughts were that when it goes wrong I'll buy a new one and replace the old one with it.
My question is will I wreck the oven housing if I do this swapping over when the time comes? If so I'll buy a new one now and get it installed next week with the rest of the kitchen.
Thanks for reading.

you should be ok. there are two basic sizes of built in ovens, single and double.
you shouldnt have any problem in finding a direct replacement.
