WD external hard drive

hi guys got my replacement WD external hard drive today,,when I sstart up pc it does not start up with pc,I have to unplug usb then reinsert usb,,I also noticed it says it is running on FAT32???? are these the right files for a uk PC any help would b good help :) ty

    You should probably reformat it to NTFS.

    how do I do that is that the correct files,found how to do it on goggle doing it just now

    its a file structure
    if you are using it just for the PC then go with NTFS
    if its fro use with the likes of PS3/360 then you need FAT32

    Right click my computer>manage>storage>disk management. find the correct drive and right click>format

    NTSF or FAT32 I preffere NTSF as you can store larger files ie movies but google it if you are unsure.
