Anyone on here grow salads and tomatoes hydroponically?

No, but I was interested watching Raymond Blanc visiting an English hydroponics tomato growing company the other night.
The guy was saying that by the end of the growing season the vines were 20 metres long (I think) which just shows you how long our tomatoes would get if they could.
Also they came to the idea that hydroponically grown tomatoes didn't taste as good as soil grown ones.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
flippin heck I have great difficulty growing Tomatoes and Salad stuff as it is this year :eek: without adding Hydroponics to it :rotfl:The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
