hi folks,
Way back at the beginning of July, these charlatans said that if you spent £5 with them you would be entitled to a £100 thomas cook voucher. As we'd won money with them (they didn't notify us though, we only found out by logging onto their website
) we thought "what the hell, let's play the fiver and get a voucher".
We were planning to use Thomas Cook anyway, so it seemed a reasonable deal.
We gave them 3 weeks to get the voucher to us. Then we tried phoning (on an 0870 number no less) and emailing... both them and their bosses at chariot.. no joy. If I'd had a penny for every time I've been told that they will email the voucher I'd be a pretty happy chappy!
So here we are weeks later in the of high speed communications with no voucher! If it takes them this long to get their finger out and send you a freebie, what are the chances that you'd get any money in the event of winning a reasonable amount??
Although I'm no great fan of the National Lottery and Camelot (until I win a fortune
), at least they seem to have their act together.

not being funny, but most of these £100 thomas cook vouchers are ten a penny.
they usually get offered as a "prize" with those wallet things you find in newspapers where you have to call a 0906 number to claim...The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

i must admit I did play, and did receive my voucher. It entitles you to £100 off any week long holiday booked online; a pity since we're very loyal to our in store rep there. But I did get it with no problem. Good luck getting yours, and keep in mind that a large chunk of that fiver went to a worthy causeDebt & Mortgage free...0
