I lost my wallet yesterday, I'm quite disapointed that no one's been in touch to return it (my phone numbers are in it), I've always made a point to return found goods, even high value goods - (Over the years, I've found 2 smartphones, 3 wallets, a watch and even £20 which I gave to the police) - this is proof that if you try to do good, you still get nothing back in return so what's the point?
Thanks to this service, I was able to get the phone numbers I needed straight away - it reduced the stress a little, thanks to whoever thought this idea up, it's worthwhile.Using MSE Feb 09, Forums since Dec 090 -

it just lists the phone numbers in case your card is lost or stolen so it be the same number for both accounts0 -
Could you have come up with a better name for the website - it sounds like a bleedin' 'wipe off your debt' claims management company
For anyone that's as confused as I was by the uninformative name and equally uninformative original post, to save them clicking on the link it says it's
'A free safe tool to guard and cancel lost or stolen credit, debit and membership cards'
But I'm a bit unclear how it 'guards' them, I think it just lists phone numbers to ring if your card is lost or stolen.0 -

Actually the most useful bit is the full list of contact numbers.
The rest is just a way to filter down to what you think you need and print it out, but the print out is still too big to just carry around with you (remember don't put it in your wallet or you will lose the cards and the info).
With the high penetration of browser-capable phones, a simple mobile interface might be more useful.
I add my card details to LastPass notes - then all the information I need except the contact number is securely available when I need it, providing I can get some sort of net access.
This page almost provides a convenient method of retrieving the contact number, if I also paste the url into LastPass.0
