    I think I'd have pointed out that my daughter did not come fitted with the hardware required to run the game. ;)
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

    Age Restricted Sales legislation is harsh on retailers that break the law.

    The store can be fined if they have not provided training.
    The assistant can be fined if she has been trained.

    Sharp objects/knives/blades, alcohol, solvents, videos/DVD, fireworks and tobacco are also covered by the legislation.

    The main message to shop assistants is, "if in doubt do not sell".

    On this occassion the assistant SHOULD have called her manager.

    But she DID sell it, by the time she said anything it belonged to the OP - i'd have just laughed in her face and walked out with my daughter holding the game!!

    isn't the age limit meant to be that playing it is suitable for people of age 3 and up? not handled by the age of 3 and up.
