It is possible they were treated with an anti-fungal dressing so if you mean eat them no I wouldn't like to :eek:. Plant them yes.
It doesn't matter if they have long shoots just put them in the best light you have until planting as normal. If there are too many and they are very long you can rub those unwanted shoots off. You would get more larger potatoes but less total yield I think. No longer half of Optimisticpair
