How long do energy contracts last? I signed with Scottish Power 20/07/09 on Online Saver 5 but I notice this is already uncompetative compared to current deals. Do I wait 12 months or?
Credit card and overdraft at 18. 2 loans and 3 storecards at 20. University education flushed down the toilet through debt at 22. Car finance at 23. Car repossessed at 24. Rock bottom at 25. Learnt my lesson 26-33. Now 34 with a mortgage on an affordable house, a car paid for with cash and a bank account in credit. I learnt the hard way.

Scottish Power online energy saver 5 has capped prices until 01 June 2010.
If you wish to end the contract before this date, there are early exist fees of £30 for electricity & £20 for gas - so factor those in to any perceived savings you would achieve by switching early."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Well guys I waited and have now moved to EDF as they are currently more competative.
