Wicks wet and dry vacuum

Hi could anyone on the forum help me please i have a wicks wet and dry vacuum which now needs replacement bags i have been in touch with Wicks and the price of the dust bags are far too expensive for what they are . I have been on the internet to dust bag .co.uk and they have informed me they do not stock anything for this model Is it possible i would be able to purchase dust bags that would be suitable for this vacuum Your help is greatly appreciated Pearl

They don't have a dust bag. That's the whole point of them - the waste goes directly into the tub and is tipped away from there. Are you mistaking the brown paper filter (which is there to protect the motor) for a dust bag?

The Wickes machine is made by Earlex and it might be worth your while to phone their customer service department on 01483 454666, both for advice but also to price up and/or order spares direct from them. Hope that helps.

If it is an Earlex then machine mart stock the cleaners and accesories.

The Wickes wet'n'dry vacuum doesn't use bags as said above. The waste goes directly into the tub. It does have a combined wet & dry filter that is re-usable and a standard size - I've just bought one of the filters for my 18-year-old wet and dry goblin cleaner, fits perfectly and from experience will last for years - it cost £11.20
