I dont deal with isa, just shares or forex, and i do my home work and not blame others,

And what you said its not greedy its desprate! and thats one of the things ICE save bagged on, desprate people that wanted to get "richer" i tell you who won the desperate people that kept on working un paying the OTT Rent and saving SAFE.

The simple point im making is when someone is offering you 11% for a ISA, You need to step back and think WHY - HOW the BEEP are they offering me this.

Like i did with my Mortgage as I said above. I to was paying OTT rent, i had a Mortgage set up but still didnt take it as somethings just didnt Add up, If i did take it i believe i would had that property Repossessed,

It is greedy to jump on a bandwagon to gain Highest % with out looking in to the Deals of these people,

ICE SAVE was too good to be true,

Wasnt the interest at the time about 6.10% rather than 11%

Yep somewhere between 6 and 7%.
Similar rates were available from other providers.

Yes you are right it was 6.1%

Since you are obviously so clever, please post a link to any of your previous posts indicating your concern with the Icelandic banks, before they collapsed.

BTW, thanks to our Icelandic friends I've got 50k earning 7.96% ATM.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

So far it is not your Icelandic friends, but other British taxpayers and savers who put their money into sounder institutions who are helping to fund your 7.96% interest.

No idea if he did but several of us did exactly that in a very long thread and were concertedly shouted down. In the same long thread, just days before the collapse, a PR woman from Icesave was allowed to post an assurance that everything was fine.

It was a very interesting demonstration of human psychology where people seemed to believe that if enough of them huddled together chanting it was all fine then they'd all be safe. There was almost a religious fervour for the bank.

Clever .. you say ? you think a person would need to be clever? your on the wrong page, im not clever i just got my eyes open,

no i didnt, same thing happens here time and time again, you get shot down, when you go against the forums views, like whole Lloyds shares "Sell all your shares there going to die" bla bla,

and even if i did would u give 2 sticks ? ...so its pointless,

your 50k could be doing better then that, but if your happy with it be happy with it,

For some reason you have taken my comments to heart, as if i was talking on a 1 to 1 with you. I am not.

Im simply saying people should do their own homework, and be happy with the investment they plan on doing, so if it happens to die they dont come running back on here blaming martin,
