Best credit card for a student?

Hi,
I have never had a credit card and am after one purely to increse my credit rating. I only intend to use it for purchases such as petrol and pay off the total balance straight away. I am 23 and returning to be a student again in a month, so is a student card the way to go? If so, any suggestions?

I am a student, i got a morgan stanlet credit card, which give me some cash back...
only 750 pounds limit thou..0
