Bit peeved with T-Mobile.

I've been a T-Mobile customer for 2 years, and have a £15 per month SIM-only contract (not a bad deal, actually), and a £15 per month mobile broadband dongle (bloody ripoff due to awful connectivity issues, but that's for another day!)
I just got myself a nice new 'smartphone', and wanted to purchase some kind of internet connection package as part of my phone contract.
The T-Mobile website is offering 'unlimited' (1gb) per month for a fiver. That's good enough for me, so I gave them a call...
...The lady on the phone did all the usual checks for compatibility, and then added the feature to my account, stating that I would have 1gb per month free of charge. I got her to repeat this several times, as I was sure there was some kind of mistake. Nope, she said, free of charge!
Anyway, 5 mins later I received a text from T-M, stating that my new bundle had been added to my account, stating that the first month is free, and it would cost £7.50 per month thereafter.
Err. So I called back and asked about it. The operator said that the text still shows their old prices - the real price is £5 per month - but that the original lady was completely wrong in stating that the 1gb per month is entirely free, and that she should've mentioned the magic words - "for the first month only".
Dammit, teasing me with a freebie!

£1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50/£600
HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500
"3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600
