Tesco alters use of codes !!!

If the codes not taken off the shopping, then the poor driver will have to take it all back, and someone will then have to Unshop and put it all back on the shelves.
I think the £5 off £50 codes are safe as Tesco prints these in Magazines that are avilable to anyone who buys them - it is any other code that unless you have been sent it then you cannot use it. IMHO I think Tesco will see a marked downturn in their online shopping. I have already started to use Asda instead and will be letting Tesco know they have lost a valuable customer to their competition.0 -
Throughout the past year I've been buying from Tesco online grocery when I needed to fill up the freezer and was doing a big shop. At this point I'd take advantage of any promotion points codes that I'd been given to increase my clubcard stash.
I'd only ever use or try to use one code per order.
No points codes = no online shops for me. I'll still pop into Tesco store now and then when I have some vouchers to use, but my shopping there will decrease. Asda will get back more of my custom.
Its their choice to do this, and to be honest I can't blame them. However, I'm not sure they realise what effect this might have on their online operation.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

What if when we get some codes from Tesco, we compare the codes on here? For example, I could get a 1000 points code and so could someone else ... is the code the same therefore everyone can use it, or if they are all different, then we know they are specific to that person.
What do you think?
Yeah I think so too, but they will definately lose a lot of online custom, as I only ever ordered online so I could get 1000 points0 -
I agree, I can only justify shopping online if I use a code and therefore it doesn't feel like I am paying for delivery.now mum of 4!!!0

Think we will all be changing supermarkets if we have to pay Tesco for delivery.
Do Asda do any free delivery days. I know Sainsburys deliver free Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday if you spend over £70.:hello:0 -
speedy_gonzalez wrote:I emailed and they said that multiple xx codes were no longer valid. Only one xx code per order. I've just e-mailed back to say - was this always the case? I'm pretty certain it wasn't. I'm waiting to hear back before I reorder just in they show some sympathy i.e give me another free delivery code (old one has expired now) and let me use my £10 off one at the same. Don't think I'm holding out much hope but you never know unless you try.
Yes, it has always been the case.0 -

Ps. If there are no codes available, I will be heading off to Waitrose and paying a little bit extra for a whole lot more taste!0 -
