Maybe the local council just made a mistake here? Here's to hoping that it can all be resolved without any expensive solicitors.0

What a Laugh ! still our local council nearly beats it !
We live in a block of Masionettes , we have 2 large skip bins for rubbish , 8 blue bins for paper etc and 8 brown bins for Garden waste ( but please , no grass cuttings ) what !!!
Nobody has a garden as its all tarmac and there are about 10 window boxes over 12 residences !
God knows how we are going to cope ?A Bast**d I May Be ! I Was Born One !
Whats Your Excuse ?0 -
Hi I think a fine like that is disgraceful, and I for one would not be paying it. We are told here in a leaflet that you must put out your wheelie bin with the handles facing the road, which we all do here and the night before the binmen come round the bins are all sitting neatly in a row handles facing the road.
Then the lorry comes round and the men empty them and I have seen one hurl the bin over onto the road. They never leave the bins back on the pavemnent as they found them always on the road all over the place.
I remember when our bins were the old dustbins and the men had to lift them up on to their shoulders and that would have been heavy work and yet they would have lifted extra things like a black bag full of grass say, and we always tipped them at Christmas as they were so cheerful and tidy.Do a little kindness every day.;)0 -
Our recycling system is mental, black bin for non-recyclables, green bin for glass, blue bin for plastics and papers, green basket with special liners for food waste which gets emptied into the brown bin which is compostables.0
