Can you claim back unfair chges on a building soc current acct?

We have been charged quite a few missed dd payments even tho sometimes it is the building soc fault and sometimes we have been under just by a penny. Can these be claimed back like bank current accts too? I have tried reading up but cant find any mention of building soc accts.

  • Yes you can, if it is a penalty charge then it is not enforceable. Join the forum at https://www.consumeractiongroup.com browse the library for letters to send and get writing.
