I have tried unsuccesfully to remove mildew stains around bath - unsightly and annoying , bleach , mildew stain remover , flash , elbow-grease everything , no success , anyone have any other suggestions . I noticed they sell white strips in Wilkinsons and i thought about covering it up but i think i need to remove current strip and it seems to be glued in place , so not sure what to do next , thanks

Try Domestos Grot Buster. It is very thick so it clings on and it got rid of all the mould in my bathroom. I had tried loads of things first too. Hope it works for you.0

If you need to remove silicone sealant, then go to your local DIY shed and get some specific silicone sealant remover. This will make the job easier.
Strip out all that's there, then apply fresh new sealant. Fill the bath before applying, and keep the bath full until it's cured.
Or get a plumber to do it.0 -
