I first saw this house on RightMove a few months back and thought that it looked like it had been built in a underground bunker because it was so dark and gloomy:

It's just popped up again with another estate agent. I think this is a perfect example of taking your pictures with a good quality camera in daylight conditions!

If it was the estate agent that took that first set of photos, they should be taken out into the garden and shot! :rotfl:

In the first one it looks like an underground dungeon .... and in the newer set it looks like the sort of place you might be renting when you first got out of prison after serving a long sentence for a hideous crime.0

And the agent doesn't even say 'in need of some modernisation'.
It's very MSE to use up left-overs, but that shouldn't apply to stone cladding. It's just popped up again with another estate agent. I think this is a perfect example of taking your pictures with a good quality camera in daylight conditions!
Yes, it looks almost habitable in that one. Cropping out the ceiling beams was a good move. Imagine how disappointed you'd be when you saw it for real, though.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
were the painted on black stripes on the roof ceiling beams?? Ithought it was some weird effect to complement hte faux stone cladding.

I think they must be ceiling beams. It's odd because I've seen no other place near there with that kind of feature.
It almost looks like roof tiles on the front of the building! A very bizarre setup. There are much nicer places around for 10K less than this.0
