Help r.e NEXT CUBES CLOCK

Aaaah this flaming clock will drive me mad but im determin=ed to have it on the wall!!
This one:
http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/homeware/office/2/5?extra=sch&n=homeware&pid=461-238&exclude=00Q00%7c00QE00&returnurl=%2fsearch%3fp%3dQ%26lbc%3dnext%26uid%3d27158874%26ts%3dv8%26w%3dcubes%2520clock%26af%3d%26isort%3dscore%26method%3dor%26filter%3dsubset%253a4201%26nxtv%3d000%26nxti%3d0&bct=%26quot%3bcubes%20clock%26quot%3b

I bought one and placed the 12, 3 6 and 9 on the wall..i then placed the middle up and it fell of denting the hands..after a hassle i have a new one..now with extra numbers as once on the wall they are non removable!!

SO tonight i fix all the number up no probs..the middle is the issue and should have known this by the great ones in the Next stores hanging off the walls lol!
Basically there is a back to the silver bit which is magnetic..it sticks to the wall but is useless so i put a screw in the wall and all well..the face however is designed to magnetically stick to it but the weight of it pulls it off..got it up with some sticky tabs and looked fab but dd has just called from the kitchen (been up an hour if that!) with it literally hanging iff ready to fall again so it is now on the table..sigh!!

So does anyone have this and have any suggestions on how to get it to stay up?
Thanks

stick a new large steel washer on the wall with no more nails.
leave it to set for 24 jours.
then your clock will stick to it via the magnetics.
    Get some gorm.

Hi thanks its not the back plate that is the prob as thats still stuck to the wall! its the actual box that is pulling it away from the magnetic plate. Next seemed to have theirs done with tape should have told me then it was pants..but does look fab! when up!

Onlt thing i can think of is superglue but then once the battery has run out its ruined grr

use some of this stuff (no more nails on a roll) http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9254538&ecamp=trf-005&CAWELAID=266887921

stick it around the inside edge where it wont be seen and just use some tape to hold it in place for around a day while it fully sets. It will definetly hold it up there because i've used it to hold a cooker hood to a wall before.

The good thing is though that you will be able to give it a good tug and it will come off for when the battery needs changing and then just put some more on

Thankyou Laurz121 that looks like fab stuff i will get some and give it a go!

There i guess are lots of possible solutions but once it has fallen off it is ruined so need to make sure when it is up it stays up as not a case of just putting it back up again!
Thankyou ill let you know how i get on x

GRRRRR i am not a happy bunny i tell you!

Managed to get the tape ordered in from our local DIY store 80p cheaper too so was happy! Got home did the clock all ok..put up and it is coming away STILL..it is partly the weight and the general way it is affixed..it's cr*p to say the least. Also to add insult to injury gone in tonight and the time is not keeping so at 10.05 it was saying 9.30pm so think the hands are iffy too..hmm letter written to next as not happy with it and it is not well and truly stuck up.

    Hi,

I've not had any problems with mine at all so I'd say there's something wrong with it. Mine's been up for about 6 months now and replaced teh battery in it once and still looks fine.

Take it back and buy my clock instead.

    I have this one
    http://www.urbangifts.co.uk/Karlsson-DIY-Clock-Multi-Coloured-Cubes-p/ka4306as.htm

You can stick the cubes wherever you like on the sticky backs provided and the middle is designed to be hung on a nail - I don't recall it being heaavy? Mine has sat solid for two years and keeps time perfectly - I couldn't even consider moving one even immediately after it had been stuck on - I think it would have taken the plaster first!

You can get it cheaper if you search for it - I paid £12 for mine once I found it in the sale on a particular website and then got an extra £5 off my first order for signing up for the lesbian newsletter! I'll be anything for a bargain; everyone loves my lesbian clock :)
