New Boiler Advice

So, Our current boiler has packed up.

We need one to supply our hot water for the heating and hot water for the dishes etc......Our is Electric.

We currently have 6 radiators on the flat, one in each room.

Our plumber suggested a 23l Combi boiler. This wouold get rid of the hotwater tank in the cupbaord and give more space etc.

Can anyone answer the following -

What price would you rekon for a full instal of a 23l Combi and extractions of the old system? - (I am based in Scotland)

Would a 23l Combi be suitable for us? (Only 2 of us, 2 Bed Flat no kids)

Can you recommend a Combi Boiler to pirce?

Is that a 23 litre combi or the model number?

Personally I'd look at the Glowworm 24CXI - we have the 28CXI (Large 3 bed semi) its great plenty of water on demand and a good quality.

Look at https://www.mrcentralheating.com at their prices. They deliver anywhere. Good value (best I could find) I paid £980 for the boiler, 7 rads, TRV valves and 60m of copper pipping.

I's suggest around £650 for the boiler then a local plumber for the fitting - try and get a job rate rather than an hourly rate (they achrge anywhere from £18- 35 per hour) so get a job lot quote IN WRITING.
