Pension Credit advice

    And there was me thinking that they had a personal vendetta against me!!! I made my claim for Pension Credit on the 22nd October 2009. A guy from the Pension Service came round to help me fill it in and collect all of the evidence. Like you I could get no where when I telephoned, they couldn't even trace the claim in February 2010!!! It was not until late March 2010 that I received a letter and a cheque for the back dated payments. When I enquired further as to why it had taken 6 months - answer - 'well we do allow at least 20 weeks so it is not that late' grrrrrrrrr!!!
