I bought a flexfit cap for my son on ebay, which was described as one size and that the flexfit was a bit worn. The cap has arrived, sized "L-XL" and the flexfit is completely knackered! I've emailed the seller and let him know why I'm not very happy (he also charged £3 for standard parcel and then sent it 2nd class).
His reply is that the hat is fine, he doesnt give refunds, and I am being critical considering the price of the cap (Its EBAY - things are cheap!!!). He says in his email that he'd be disappointed if we both leave negs (doesnt bother me!)
I dont feel I'm going to get anywhere with this seller - should I go for a non performing seller now, or email him again?

Standard parcel is normally cheaper than 1st class, and slower, so he probably forgot to put 2nd on the listing instead of parcels. Or did he state seller's standard rate?My TV is broken!

Thats always the chance you take, and I appreciate that. However, I wouldnt have bid on the cap if I'd known it was L-XL. I suppose thats really my problem. I have checked out another flexifit cap which my son has, and it states S-M - so clearly not one size.
The post office franked sticker clearly said 2nd class. I dont usually check how much sellers have paid for the postage when I receive packages, as I appreciate there is more to it than just paying the post office. His listing stated standard parcel.
I'll send him another email. I dont want to be narky with him - its nice to be nice

What I'm trying to say is that 2nd class and standard parcel are basically identical services. If it was just a cap, it wouldn't have been heavy enough to send standard parcels.
In short, you got the service you paid for, it just had a different name.My TV is broken!
