What to do with my rock garden
I bought my first house last year and was blessed in that the previous owner must have loved gardening. Although it's a terraced house it's the garden is steeped with the front door reached via a set of steps.
There is a rock garden at the front which has probably seen better days. Can anyone suggest what might look look here and what I should be planting now ?

do you want to put in plants or sow from seed ? garden centres usually have a wide range of alpine plants and dwarf connnifers that will grow through your rockery .you could buy some aubretia seeds and sow these to make new plants you could plant some dwarf summer bulbs like iris ? If the previous owner was a keen gardener i waould expect they planted for plants to come up all year round so you may not need to do any major planting , wait and see what comes up and enjoy the benefits of someone elses hard work .0
