Get the local paper for the town/area you are looking at. There will usually be a property section within the paper, most are within the weekly papers but one or two go in the daily local paper on a set day, usually Thursday, also check the classified section of the paper.

    Hi GARICHD

I'm from the berkshire area. Best place is either the 'Slough Observer' ( back pages) which comes out every friday. Or better still get the Property newspaper from the local estate agent. It comes out every wednesday adn the back pages are filled with lots of private letting ads.

    best of luck
