My boiler in my flat broke 6 weeks ago, still not fixed, and have been without central heating and hjot water for all this time.
Landlord said it would be fixed and it hasn't been, I called them as soon as the boiler broke and every week since, again last thursday and they said they would call me back later that day and they didn't.
what can I do? walk away from the contract? withhold next months rent?
need advice.
thanks

Withholding rent puts you in breach of your rental contract.
Write to the landlord and state that you have been without a boiler for 6 weeks and ask that it be fixed within 7 days. Contact your local council private rent officer.
With no heating or hot water I would be phoning every day. Your landlord should at the very least supplied electric heaters to tide you over.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
