is it possible for 2 people to have the same email address. only asking this as i have set up a new account for entering comps-for [EMAIL="example-moneysaving@live.co.uk"]example-moneysaving@live.co.uk[/EMAIL]

but when trying to set up a facebook account it tells me this email is already in use.

Nope its not possible to use single email id by 2 of them.

should i close this particular account? only had a day or so?

have had a brief look on the windows live help but again everyone says its not possible.

Email addresses can get "recycled". e.g if you don't log into your hotmail account for x number of days it gets deleted and someone else can later register it. So maybe someone used to have your address linked to a facebook account but then let the email account lapse(?)

hiya i tried the password request using the email i think is in use and have not heard anything back as of yet. i have sent this person a messgae though to tell them what im upto-dont want them thinking im a hacker of some sorts!!!!!!
