Washer Struggling To Empty

Just wondered if anyone could help.Noticed yesterday floor was wet after washer been on,tested it today and seems when on final rinse/spin (The strong one) the water goes in the drum ok but when the pump comes to discharge it comes back up the inlet pipe and runs out where the powder goes in.Now my question is do you think its just partially blocked cos it does discharge if u fanny around with it and get it to do it slowly on other programmes, or is it a penny or something stuck somewhere? Its a Hoover one but doesnt have an exterior filter,so should I try and put some vinegar/bicarp in and slosh round and hope it shifts it if its gunge or do u think its a case of get the engineer in to sort.Im loathe to get him in as its in b+++++ awkward position and very awkward to get at with Dishwasher right next door with pipes all together.Would appreciate other peoples ideas/help and whether you have had same problem. Thanks in advance

You need to check the pipe from the outer drum to the pump then the pipe from the pump to the outlet.
The chances are you will find a blockage somewhere in those pipes.
Use some stiff wire to find and remove the bockage.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
Had a similar problem ourselves a couple of months ago - our pump had given up - local repair man had a second hand one in his van that fitted and we only got charged £30 the the pump and his call out with the guarantee that it will only cost another £20 if the second hand one dies aswell."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Thanks guys but i have a feeling that it isnt the pump, as it pumps out strongly at final rinse/spin thats when the water backs up which makes me think more likely to be blcokage or something, previously about 9 months ago had same problem when it backed up in waste pipe and when took that apart found like crusted yuk stuff which i "knocked out" of pipes amd thoroughly cleaned so maybe its the same gunk in the washer pipes?Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:0

Yes sounds like build up of gunge, take the pipe off and give it a good clean, also clean your waste pipe that it attatches to.0
