Hi
Just been to Morrison and got two bags of their compost which was marked at £3.50 abag or two for £5 . Got to the till and they went through at £1.75 a bag. Unsure if there has been a price change or if this is a mistake
so went back and got 6 more bags at £1.75
These are the big bags of compost was £3.50 marked on them

Hi
Does it say how much each bag contains, in litres?
Many thanks :beer:0 -

These were marked as half price at £1.75 in my store. Some of their sets of pots were also half price eg 4 cermamic pots now £6.
Had some mini plug plans 24 for £2 too which were great for potting on ready for baskets0 -
have you opened the bag? Is the compost nice or woody?0

Dam it away for this week bet it'll go back up by the time i get back.0

We use this compost every year and it's always nice and ummm earthy?I know what you mean by woody though, but have never had a problem with the Morrisons compost.
Thanks for posting OP, grabbed some tonightDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
appreciate this post is useful, but just thought i would point out that if you are in need of compost, rather than making a special trip to morrisons it is even cheaper to buy compost at an independent specialist store... i can buy organic compost 75 litre bags for £3, and 40 litre for £1.49 at my local garden centre and farm shop for example
cheers to op though, as this is handy for people just wanting a bag or 2 of compost conveinently when they do their weekly shop0 -

I wish I lived near your garden centres then, none of my local ones (that I have been to, and I've been to most if not all) sell their compost at anything like that price, much more expensive!DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
I've not seen it cheaper at garden centres. It's normally much more expensive there.
I've seen some in Lidl, 40 litre bags for £2.29.0 -
in which case, let me rephrase... in west sussex, you can definitely get compost cheaper in independent garden centres
in other parts of england this may or may not be the case... shop around
what gets me is here we are all paying for stuff that in scotland is given away free at household waste recycling centres!0
