Just had the call early as all the votes were in.

Accepted subject to additional £17.96 (seems Northern Rock don't like people having life insurance!) but seen as they didn't ask for an increase in the term I'm not going to argue.

Made the first payment of £377.96 - only 59 more payments to go!!!!:j

THEY MADE YOU PULL YOUR LIFE INSURANCE?
Incredible - from the first bank to have its hand out when the !!!! hit the financial fan!

Seems petty but I'm glad you've been accepted - good luck!
Who did you go with? And what was their service like?
Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

Thought I'd let you know how people voted at the creditors meeting!

    £25k Lloyds TSB - Accepted
£20k Northern Rock - Accepted (with modification)

    Capital One £2k - Rejected
    Barclaycard £4k - Rejected

MBNA £2k - No vote placed

Lloyds and NR accounted for over 75% of the debt so the IVA was passed.:j

how much are you ending up paying back? what percentage if you dont mind me asking? we currently have debts of £50k and are on a dmp, paying £300 a month which means it will take at least 16 years to become debt free (and thats if they all stop interest, which they havent) by which time i will be 59! i am considering an IVA as I dont want to still be in debt when I am an old lady! LOL
