I would appreciate any comments on Hargreaves Lansdown and their Vantage product for Equity base ISA's.
I spoke to them on the phone this morning and they were quoting no entry fees or annual fees (on the majority of their products). Seems to good to be true. Is there a catch that I am missing.
Thanks
Robert

Equity based ISA.
What product specifically? Share? Funds? ETFs?
You will find they are one of the favourites of us MSErs.0 -
I am thinking of Managed Funds.

OK managed funds they are the cheapest provider around.
They do discount on Initial and AMC (I assume you know what they are). They themselves do not charge any extra.
Only downside is, One off buy is a minimum of £1k, otherwise you have to buy monthly which is a minimum of £50 per fund per month (but can be stopped at anytime).0 -
I am thinking of moving all of my ISA investments, so a fairly large sum, and then adding to this each year.
I currently have funds such as:- Newton Higher Income
- Standard Life UK Eqty
- Threadneedle Europe & American

Yes I believe HL will be your best bet.0

Just for clarification these limits are fund limits not HL specific so would be applicable to any provider.Only downside is, One off buy is a minimum of £1k, otherwise you have to buy monthly which is a minimum of £50 per fund per month (but can be stopped at anytime).
As Lokolo states for funds HL are considered to be very good with good customer service / web site functionality and information. If, however, you ever want to buy stocks, ETFs, ITs they ar expensive and should probably be avoided.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Thanks, I still can't believe that their are no entry or annual fees.
Any other users out there that would like to recommend (or otherwise) H&L.

I think Fidelity are the same (discount broker).0 -
HL are fine for managed funds. You do need to be aware that there is an additional 0.5% plus VAT annual charge for some of the funds if held within their ISA or SIPP, although it is capped at £200 +VAT per account. This extra charge is clearly indicated on the fund details.0
