Which paint please?

Painting my daughters room, want to do a nice pink colour (was eyeing up sweet pink in dulux) but having read some posts on here and not sure whether to use dulux? Is there a half-decent MSE alternative - particularly to a light(ish) girly pink?
It needs to be quite easy to go on. And how much roughly would I need (the room is around 250x200cm? so not massive?)
Thanks
ETA - also the room is currently a dull miserable grey - will I need to do some sort of white base coat over that or will I get away with just the pink - which I'd rather? Thanks

5 ltrs should be enough.
as for MSE cheap paint, thats a problem in certain colors as cheap paints generally have a poor selection of colors.
depends on how dark the grey is? if its dark then i would use some of the pink in some white to make a pinky white! (as a first coat).
or give it a first coat of say any magnolia left over from other jobs.Get some gorm.0
