I never received it either and it should have been here by now if it was going to come.0

I got one of these booklets when they were last available. They are a good memory aid if it is a while since you did a first aid course. I would recommend that anyone in employnent volunteers to be a workplace first aider. The course and periodic refreshers are then paid for by your employer but are useful to you everywhere you go.
After receiving the booklet I was inundated with calls trying to get me to donate monthly. I know charities are having a hard time of it just now and I will willingly give what I can when I can to good causes BUT this was harasssment. :mad:Calls came at night as well as during the day. Having elderly relatives I couldn't not answer the phone either. After loosing my job and having no prospects of getting another, I was feeling low anyway. I felt that I had to explain myself and circumstances, over and over. They have an answer for everything. When I'm my usual self I can say "no thank you " as a broken record and still leave the conversation on an up beat rather than get into a discussion.
Summary - get the booklet and use it but have your answers ready or give a false tele. no.0 -

I've just ordered my copy, thank you :T. This will be useful and informative as I am considering training to be a first aider at work. Also it's always good to be prepared just in case!0

I think the paper copy is useful to carry round and refer to if necessary in an emergency!0 -
