"My Pictures" seprate folders problem

Whenever i used to load new pictures, i always got the new pics in a seperate folder, so i could just for example see a slide show of, say the last day out.
now when i load new photos, I follow the same thing ive always done "Copy pictures to a folder on my computer, name them, etc, etc" but they just "Add on" to the last lot of photos, no seperate folder even if theve been named "Day out in London" or whatever, so if I click show a slideshow i have to see the whole lot. Any clues anyone thanks.

  • Hi,

don't know why it's doing it now, but think you will just have to set up new folder each time, right click, new and rename it.

I assume it was the camera software doing that. Have a look at the tools or options menu to see if there are any preferences that can be changed, otherwise you'll just need to do what I do and make a new folder first.

Thanks for that, but if I make a new folder, every seperate picture has then to be "Put in" the new folder......takes forever, and i never had to do this before.

    Why?

Open the folder you want to put them in, open the folder on the camera where they are at the moment.

Select all the ones you want to copy or move (select first one, hold down Shift key, select last one), right-click on them and select copy or cut from the sub-menu. Go to the destination folder, right-click in the folder window, select paste. All copied or moved in one go.
