I took some money off and he didnt mind, he agreed it wasnt very good.

Now i have to fill the holes in, i was going to use caulk but a builder friend recommended i use solvent free grab adhesive instead because the gaps are so big. Is this right?
    Thanks again for replies

Big gaps by the sounds of it, make sure you remove any pets or kids playing behind before sealing over ;)
